15th International Boule Tournament in Darmstadt

This event was planned and organised by the Darmstadt section of Eurojumelages Germany. The two main organizers were Britt Haller and Rolf Wojewodka. Very special thanks are also due to Rolfs’ daughter Karola and her family who took care of the marquee, chairs, tables, benches and drinks. On the day prior to the tournament there was a possibility to participate in a tour on the Mathildenhöhe under the guidance of Meinhard Dausin.
Language and Culture Week in Fiennes on the Côte d'Opale
from 28 June to 5 July 2025
The 16 participants (14 from Germany and 2 from Great Britain) in the Language and Culture Week were welcomed in Fiennes with a warm “Bienvenue” by the organising team of the Lille section.
The program included: an intensive week of French, enjoying local culinary specialties, and exploring the cultural treasures of the region... all in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
At the end of the week, all participants unanimously declared: it was an excellently organized event that will remain a fond memory for everyone.
I hope that many friends of Eurojumelages will be inspired by the following article written by the participants and perhaps take part in next year's Language and Culture Week in France.
OSCAR 2025 at the Silbersee holiday park
This year's OSCAR took place at the Silbersee holiday park near Frielendorf in the North Hesse region, also known as Little Red Riding Hood country, from 16th – 20th June. The event was organised by the Marburg section and strongly supported by Sabine and Ronald from the Konstanz section, who live nearby.
Places had been reserved for 100 people in houses, bungalows and flats at the holiday park. As the registration deadline approached, there were less registrations than anticipated and it was thought that the number of participants would not reach 80. However, as the deadline loomed, there was a flood of registrations.
Naples and its amazing surroundings
25 Jumeleurs (23 from Germany, 1 Spaniard and 1 Jumeleur from England) met in Naples In May 2025 to explore the city, its surroundings and beautiful Campania.
The planning and organisation was carried out by our friend Franco Mazzarella from Milan, who, with the support of ‘Viaggi e Miraggi’, showed us the city of Naples with all its different facets and offered us an interesting and varied stay.
